Announcing our Summer series of live speaker events throughout the 2021 summer season.

Evenings this summer we will move the exhibits in the north gallery off to the sides, set up folding chairs, and welcome guest speakers:

  • August 30th, Great Lakes cruise ship eraValerie van Heest will take you back to the early 20th century when STEAM powered industry, STEAM drove the economy, and STEAM created a growing prosperity that generated a demand for recreational travel on luxurious passenger steamers circling the Great Lakes during the golden age of steamships.

The summer events will start at 7:00 PM. Seating for these events is limited to 50 – no reservations, no admission fee.  Come early to get a seat for this live and in-person presentation.
